With the news of the recent Twitter update and my entire feed being "Welcome to bsky! Here is an entire handbook of shit you need to do if you want any level of traction" or either chastising people for not making the move, I'm reminded how tired and burnout I am of social media in general.

With arms crossed and wearing long white robes, a young woman leans against a pillar and offers the audience an apathetic glance. Behind her, the warm glow of the setting sun—unseen behind low billowing clouds—illuminates the water and the tilted remains of a futuristic city. It's not clear if the city is sinking or rising out of the water. On close examination, human and animal bones can be seen in relief on the surface of the pillar. The weathered stumps of other pillars can be seen in the field around her. Small creatures, cute and furry, stop for a snack on alien vegetation, which includes red flowers that stand vibrant among the muted greens in the foreground.

A series of crystal-powered guns made of wood, brass and steel in an ornate 19th century decorative style. The first one is a sniper rifle with a Martini action and a very long scope, with the smooth eggplant-shaped pink crystal used as its power source serving as a short buttstock. The second one is a large shoulder fired weapon with a large rough blue crystal held in vices into a latticed funnel-shaped barrel tapering into a regular octagonal barrel. It is fired using a smaller purple crystal held in a flintlock looking action, with the trigger linked to a pistol grip far to the front of said action and a large leather cushion to res the weapon on one's shoulder. Third one is a stubby little thing, with the back half of a Colt revolver with a sturdy stock attached to the grip, and a multifaceted teal crystal where the cylinder should be before a wide short barrel. In fourth is a flintlock pistol with a mechanism to turn it into a breechloader, with each cartridge containing a short red rod of smooth crystal. The fifth one, powered by a dark purple crystal, is a large pepperbox carbine, which appears to be striker fired and spring loaded, with many brass fittings and a wind up key strapped onto it and held with a chain lanyard. The sixth and final gun is essentially one of those so-called Apache knuckle duster pistols, but instead of a revolver or pepperbox itt bears a large pointed light green crystal, and ends up looking like the noisy cricket from MIB. Three magical muskets. The first one is an arcane tschinke, a wheellock fowling piece from Central Europe, with every bit of metal on it gilded and intricately carved with runes and shit. The second is a Japanese arquebus, made of red cherry tree and mounted in silver, with its matchlock mechanism covered in talisman bearing the sign for fire. The third one is a jezail or moukala decorated with shining brass wire and green tassels. Instead of a barrel, its long stock bear a series of lenses focusing the light somehow held in a jar like mechanism above the action into a deadly ray. The jar's surface is decorated like an astrolabe and the action is simply meant to open its spring loaded lid for a few seconds.
