Took this excellent advice tonight and my God, she's so good in it. It feels condescending to say she held her own with Nicholson and Beatty If anything she made Nicholson hotter and Beatty more intense. They had to meet *her* level. An understatement to say she holds the film together
There are so many Diane Keaton performances to remember, but a lot of people haven't seen Reds, and A) my God, see it, it is a masterpiece and B) her performance as Louise Bryant is one of the bravest, toughest, least sympathy-courting pieces of work by an American actress in the last 50 years.

Keanu Reeves is handsome. Denzel Washington is magnetic. Mere physical beauty has nothing on charisma, which is what Washington has. I mean, he is ALSO ridiculously handsome, to be clear. But he could look like a shoe and still make you ignore everyone else on the screen.
I don’t take anything away from Keanu’s absurd handsomeness when I say Denzel Washington in that movie is one of the handsomest screen appearances in cinema.

Welp…after two great back to back interviews just got the generic “it’s not you it’s me” email from HR. Had an interview with both the direct hiring mgr and the tech supervisor and I KNOW both interviews went well. A bit blindsided but what can ya really do
