Idgaf I’m still fighting for guaranteed healthcare.

Aspiration is the answer. Not just “we’re not the bad guys.”

We need something more meaningful than that. I want a future worth fighting for. They have no vision. We do. Lean into our strengths and knock them out. 👊🏽

The same people having a temper tantrum over DEI just confirmed the least qualified Secretary of Defense in US history because Trump liked him on TV.

Let’s be clear. Trump did not repel the EEOC. An executive order cannot repeal legislation.

Trump revoked President Johnson’s Executive Order 11246, which protected affirmative action for federal contractors.

Trump’s EO does not impact Title VII or laws enforced by the EEOC.

Found my 2024 in/out list, and most proud of following the rule of not going to events/parties only out of FOMO. Had a lot more intentionality with what I said “yes” to, and was more excited for those events

Don’t you love how the ones pointing the fingers are often the guilty ones themselves?
Don't forget how many Republicans were STILL publicly willing to stick their necks out for Matt Gaetz knowing what he's accused of. Not only was it for nothing given the failed AG bid, but they proved themselves wiling to run cover for an alleged CHILD SEX TRAFFICKER. Was it worth it, Republicans?

if house republicans had a damning report on a democratic cabinet nominee, they would 100% find a way to get it out there with zero problem or second thought

Can Dems please start fighting?

California's failure to build abundant housing costs us political power and reduces our representation in Congress. (It also makes it really hard to afford to live in this glorious place, but you knew that.)
New >> California and New York are projected to lose up to 8 electoral votes in 2030. Texas and Florida are projected to gain 8.

If Kamala Harris had to compete with that map, even winning Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin wouldn’t have saved her. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
The Democrats’ Electoral College Squeeze
In the future, even winning the former “Blue Wall” states won’t be enough for the party’s presidential nominees.

Democrats need to embrace making it easier & faster to produce the things people need — e.g., housing, clean energy, child care, transit — & move away from government-created scarcity.

An abundance approach lowers cost of living.

Democrats need to lean into being the Party of abundance.
