You will be shocked, shocked to hear that "The Theory That Men Evolved to Hunt and Women Evolved to Gather Is Wrong"! 🙄 Duh! OF COURSE IT'S WRONG. But now there's a cool article listing the biological and evidentiary reasons, along with nifty diagrams.

Unfortunately us at BlueSky have decided against $igns in the end, in recent beta testing we realized any dollar amount would register as it's own $ign. So we will be sticking with Hashtags for now until we find a better alternative

We will be rolling out an update with 2 major features
1. To differentiate us from other social media platforms, we will no longer be using hashtags for tagging posts or threads. Instead tags will be preceded by the $ symbol, and they will be called "$igns"
