A break from today's buffet of terrible news. This is a little doodle I made one day thinking about a neighborhood on another planet. I like it, I'm going to paint a larger version with Flashe paint (matte vinyl paint). Or oils and metallic oilsticks. This small version is gouache.

I seriously need to get back to painting. I feel like I've been in a 2025 bad-news daze for months. Though I looked at the price of canvases yesterday — ouch. At least I have my allotted three pencils.

Hey @nytimes.com, this headline is offensive. Trump talked about eggs for his entire campaign, in his unhinged and dishonest way, and you never thought it deserved a story. @klobuchar.senate.gov responds and you turn on the mocking and trivializing tone. Do better.
