I’ve never fully cut a friend off, but I’m doing so now, and I wasn’t aware of how much of a relief it would be to stop trying to maintain a relationship with someone who has rarely (if ever) shown that they care about me. I’m bad at self-care, but this feels like a step in the right direction.

So glad to be here. This space feels so much calmer (and saner). I feel like my already anxious brain isn’t trying to eat itself anymore.
