Still dealing with spam resulting from that attack a year later. 🫠
My credit card was hacked today and the ARSEHOLE flooded my email account with over 500 (!!!) spam newsletter subscription confirmation emails in the hope it would drown the order confirmation email for "their" new PS5. 🙃😩

Had my first symptoms on September 29th, eye got infected quite badly (mostly sorted now), ended up on more than half a dozen meds. Still taking two meds to manage neuropathic pain two months later.
Get the new vaccine if you can! (I know I'll get mine once I'm in the clear)

I think we, as a culture, have really done ourselves a disservice by letting Patreon get positioned as a service people pay for.
Patreon isn't supposed to be about paying for access to certain works. It's supposed to be about investing in creators so those works can exist.

Fun fact: If someone quotes a post of yours in a way that is unwelcome (as is commonplace on Twitter/X) there is a tool to combat the unwanted attention. Simply click the three dot menu on the quote post & click "Detach quote". This removes your post from their quote post. Useful to know, do share!
