The unexpected kindness of a friend who slipped a beautiful Prehnite tower into an order because I mentioned how much I love that particular material, and sent two samples on top of it all really made my day.

Not an insignificant amount of ice coating everything. it’s incredibly pretty out, but the poor birds and squirrels are having A Time trying to land and race to food on the ground.
Two squirrels sounded like a stampede as one chased the other around and up a tree. Couldn’t help but laugh at them.
