Ours is a Coop tote and I have a penguin Tesco one. Started almost 20 years ago with a gorgeous HUGE green one from Spain. It lasted over 15 years! Always enjoy surprising the UK locals when they start to grab a plastic & I can make them smile by having the tote.

We carry a tote bag for groceries when we go to the UK as well.

And poverty - usually - is NOT a failing. So many of my kids' parents were working but with minimum wage where it's at, it's not even close to what's needed.

The other morning hubs said he missed Scotland & having tea in the morning. Easy solution: We're making a 50% swap to tea. It's at least a little bit less expensive & we both like it. I've got English, Irish & Scottish breakfast tea ordered in small portions so we can decide which we like best. 🫖

Yummmmm! I have red lentil curry cooking on the stovetop and a pot of Rio Zapes slow cooking in the oven. Soups, chilies, curries - love the cold weather comfort food!
