Yes, use the UK one to go in/out of the uk but use your German one or Ausweis at the German border. I don’t know if the egates still accept the Ausweis or not? Tbh in HH it’s always been quicker for me to go straight to a counter on arrival. I was straight thru on my return last month.

My intention is to only use my uk one when I’m going there. I can use my Ausweis when I go thru/enter security on this side.

Well, it isn’t so far to the border. When I went to Flensburg I cycled to Denmark just because I could 😅 I had a daytrip up there last summer to, on the west side.

I can do Lübeck in a daytrip, but I’d need an overnighter to visit Timmendorfer too probably.

I’ve been to Fehmarn! Really lovely wee place. I’ve not been back that way apart from going to Lübeck. I want to visit Plön too at some point.

I always used to see Stevie at gigs when I lived in Scotland. Never ran into Stuart anywhere!! I wish the band (& especially Stuart) would get their arses over here. It was lovely to regularly interact with him on the Bad Place.
