Democrats had a quarter century, with multiple legislative windows to oppose this. They didn't. They relentlessly funnelled more and more money and power to the police state they overwhelmingly voted to expand.

Do something to actually protect your citizens or just resign so that someone who actually wants to can. Or are you just selfishly doing anything to keep the target off your back while your constituents risk their lives? Why did you even bother running for governor or VP if you just roll over?

Yes. Ya'know actually put some effort into trying anything instead of just giving up. That's what I see average Minnesotians doing and even Will Stancil doing. If they can do it, then so can Walz and you instead of just rolling over and waiting for eventual demise while others sacrifice themselves.

Then he should use his authority to fire them all and empower the actual people standing up. His weak messaging is just encouraging a slow drip of torture and deaths while his citizens demand more. Just giving up and letting it happen is going to lead to the same awful results.

He could demand his state national guard and police protect citizens instead of supporting ICE as they have been. If they refuse his orders then that just confirms we have already reached the end stages of our democracy. His refusal to do so is an avoidance of this reality.
