Those look unconscionably good! I’d let that “force” me back to the office. For a day.

So as Justice Sotomayor says, “The implication of the Government’s position is that not only noncitizens but also US citizens could be taken off the streets, forced onto planes, and confined to foreign prisons with no opportunity for redress if judicial review is denied unlawfully before removal"

An extraordinary separate dissent from Justice Jackson accuses the majority of trying to pass off its dirty work under the cover of the shadow docket and explicitly invokes Korematsu, the Japanese internment case. Wow. www.documentcloud.org/documents/25...

I’m not a resident of California, but I can’t see a way I’d support any presidential campaign of his. I thought he’d be a great candidate, but hell no now.

I guess the question for me is: who is he pandering to? Is it conservatives now, or liberals before? I think he’s showing who he is and was.

The move by conservative thinkers to privatize everything makes my blood boil. Can private enterprises be more efficient? Maybe. But any cost savings that result from efficiencies get more than gobbled up by corporate profits. So, in the end, the consumers (taxpayers) are even worse off.
