I'm still concerned about Trump & company not signing the ethics statement and pushing ahead with nominations without the nominees being investigated by the FBI. How can these "requirements" be sidestepped? Can the election be invalidated if these procedures aren't followed? What is the recourse?

IMO, the term "mass deportation" is a misnomer. Better term is "mass incarceration." When people are rounded up, where are they going to go? Other countries don't want them back. So, they're going to go to holding camps where, sooner or later, they will be required to work for their food, etc.
