No 10 ICYMI: "Eurostar and Deutsche Bahn (DB) have confirmed joint plans for a direct high-speed rail connection between Germany & London, which will go direct to Cologne and Frankfurt in 4 and 5 hours respectively.

Finland uses “Russia-gauge” rails. They are going to move to European compatible rail gauge for their own resilience.

China has begun pre service trials for the worlds fastest high speed train.

The CR450 reached a top speed of 453 kilometers per hour (281mph) and is set to enter commercial operation next year.

The country is on track to reach 50,000km of HSR this year.
