A crash barrier lies across the cycle lane with temporary plastic fencing laying around. The road is unobstructed.

Here’s my version, taken two days ago in London.
Car shrapnel over a flattened bike lights pole at a junction. Conclusion: a car was crashed inches from where am waiting.

Tonight on my way home I joined the illustrious ranks of riders who have GPS glitched their way up Lambeth Hill at 286.9km/h and been awarded a Strava KOM.
Strava notification that I just became the KOM for Lambeth Hill Ascent Map of Lambeth Hill Ascent, coming off Castle Baynard street on CS3. The Strava leaderboard for the segment showing 7 other riders who have exactly the same time and speed as me, all from dates in 2020.

I’m curious where you got those stats, because this page from TfL seems to have some quite different numbers.

The 2024 Travel in London report contains this chart. The congestion zone roughly matches the Central London area.
Chart of relative traffic volumes from 2000 to 2024 in various London areas and Great Britain as a whole. Central London shows the greatest drop of around 30% since 2000.

Email from Twitter saying that user @JBEuWsBtuosrtot hasn't broken any rules and will not be suspended. Twitter profile of @JBEuWsBtuosrtor showing their profile photo is a swastika and display name is "BringBackHitler". A Twitter post saying "It's Cool to be NAZI" and "Hitler was right about everything" and our guy @JBEuWsBtuosrtor replying "True".

Item 1: A highway that will cost billions, take 20 years and contribute to the destruc....Approved! Item 2: A 3km bike lane that will cost almost nothing, reduce traffic and align with out climate emerg... Do you have approval from every living and deceased resident in the city?
