We have something like 15k monthly listeners on Spotify and the 100 or so album+EP sales we’ve made over the past 18 months on Bandcamp has made us something like 10-15x as much money.

Please buy songs and albums from bands if you like their music.
Someone bought two records yesterday and even with shipping that’s more I’ve ever made from Spotify in the years I’ve been releasing music. ☺️

Oh yeah, buy a record or three? We’re heading into the studio to record Labrador LP 4 and I’m told by the suits I’ve gotta “move some units”

Re-listening to this album and I’m still really proud of 80-90% of these songs. Give it a listen, if you want to hear a band that did the alt-country thing with big guitars at a time (2016) where it wasn’t exactly cool again. music.apple.com/us/album/dea...

This new Homefront album is like a perfected version of the post-punk era of BLITZ that all the punks hated. I mean this in the best way possible.

How could you not want to write songs after listening to John Cale's FEAR and PARIS 1919? Simply impossible.

This interview made me tear up. The Who mean everything to me and Pete never shies away from giving REAL answers. His songs diagnosed the root of this toxic masculinity/male loneliness crisis that’s going on today and sadly, that’s why they remain timeless. m.youtube.com/watch?v=ukBw...

This record has been out for almost half a year. Thank you for listening. If you haven't, check it out. I hope it makes your day better, or you at least get a kick out of me mentioning Cumberland Farms in a song.

Writing a bio for myself for a yet-to-be-disclosed project. I wrote that I am a part of the "critically acclaimed band Labrador," which ... I'm as shocked to report as you are to read is TRUE!

How do you like that?

There’s a trope about artists being sad and aloof that’s easy to roll your eyes at. Often, it’s because there’s an inner monologue that can be embarrassing to convey before it’s crystallized into a concept. They just can’t relate in those moments.

Or they’re hangry. It’s a real coin flip.

Caught Mars Volta last night. They played their new album, but was a little bummed knowing they wouldn’t be playing anything else. While I missed old tunes, I now love the new record. Then found this speech from Cedric and love them even more for doing it. www.reddit.com/r/themarsvol...
