Advancing the needs of working people, unions & the labor movement in Congress. Solidarity forever.
Over 14,000 Starbucks workers have unionized since 2021, but they still don’t have a union contract because of Starbucks’ stalling.

That’s why we, @jayapal.house.gov, & over 80 Members of Congress are calling on Starbucks to stop union-busting & reach a contract with @sbworkersunited.org

The numbers are clear: we’ve lost over 150,000 energy jobs because of Trump’s energy crisis.

@climatepower.bsky.social’s new report shows that while Trump has squashed hundreds of thousands of jobs, energy bills have spiked across the country.

Working families deserve better.

Workers keep Americans moving by building & operating our nation's highways, railroads, & ports.

We're fighting for pro-worker transportation policies in Congress to invest in our infrastructure, keep America safe, and strengthen domestic manufacturing.

Today marks the longest government shutdown in American history.

For 36 days, Republicans have refused to negotiate to reopen the government. Instead, they’re firing federal workers & canceling construction jobs.

Workers aren’t pawns. It’s time for bipartisan negotiations.

We need trade policies that level the playing field for workers and bring good jobs back home.

We’re calling for improvements to our trade deal with Mexico and Canada that support American workers by cracking down on corporate offshoring, scrutinizing Chinese investment, and raising wages.

First responders put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe.

This #NationalFirstRespondersDay, we want to thank all the firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, and many more who always answer the call for help.

Last week, the courts blocked Trump’s attempt to illegally fire thousands of federal employees.

Republicans need to come to the bargaining table to reopen the government and stop with these political games. Federal workers and the American people deserve better.

Air traffic controllers work around the clock to keep our skies safe to fly, & now they’re forced to work without pay due to the government shutdown.

Today on #DayOfTheController, we recognize & honor these public servants for their hard work & commitment to aviation safety.

Trump’s threat to stiff furloughed federal employees is clearly illegal.

We’re going to protect federal workers and ensure they receive the backpay they’re owed.
October 8, 2025 at 5:32 PM
It’s outrageous that Trump & Vought continue to threaten the livelihoods of tens of thousands of dedicated federal workers during a government shutdown.

Vice-Chair @ivey.house.gov said it best: "We're in this fight to win it and we're going to keep fighting hard."

Federal workers and the American people deserve better. We’re calling on Republicans to return to the bargaining table and to stop treating workers as political pawns.

Workers’ rights are forever🧡
October 3, 2025 at 7:11 PM
Trump and Vought are using the shutdown as a pretext to fire even more federal workers.

These patriotic workers that have dedicated their careers to public service and supporting their fellow Americans, and they deserve better.
October 1, 2025 at 8:01 PM
Workers must have a seat at the table when it comes to safety decisions regarding our country’s highways, railroads, & ports.

That's why we're calling on DOT to immediately reconvene its transportation advisory committees & restore the membership of all labor representatives.

New Legislative Endorsement 📢

We're proud to endorse @debbiedingell.house.gov's PFAS Alternatives Act, which would protect firefighters from harmful chemicals by funding the research and development of PFAS-free firefighting turnout gear🧑‍🚒

We’re concerned about reports of Viscofan’s union-busting tactics, including withdrawing union recognition & weaponizing benefits against workers.

That’s why we’re demanding the company immediately drop its anti-union campaign & answer for its actions.
