It's been ages since I watched The Last Samurai. I do believe tonight is the time for another watch. Such a fantastic movie, however, TIL it was directed by the same guy who directed Glory. I just rewatched it last week. Tom Cruise may be a weirdo but boy can he act.

Not understanding the Stranger Things hate at all. The only thing I'll give them is not understanding why Millie got botox and lip fillers, poor girl has the same frozen look in nearly every scene. I dont like to harp about looks but its a bit distracting.

Finally watching Season 4 of Love Death and Robots. How Zeke Got Religion was fantastic, it had WWII, occult, mayhem, just an all around great short episode.

Watching the 2011 Conan movie staring Jason Mamoa. It wasnt great by any means but I was in the mood for some swords n whatnot. That said, I feel like any future Conan movies should be animated. #movies

Like so many of us, Rob Reiner's movies were a huge part of my childhood. The Princess Bride and Stand By Me were on constantly either on TBS or TNT, or our dubbed VHS collection. A tragic loss, made only that much worse given the circumstance. RIP Now I go watch The Princess Bride for comfort.

Perusing Tubi, as I often do, I found a show called Night Visions. Its a Twilight Zone/ Outer LImits sort of show, with some interesting episodes. What caught me off guard was the host between the segments is none other than @henryrollins21361.bsky.social

Addicted to potstickers so badly right now. Ive been eating them with some thinned orange marmalade. Saw someone online mix in some Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce with marmalade for some super cheater orange chicken. Can confirm, its deliciousness.

Ever since I was a kid, I loved Dirty Dancing, not sure why. But, one thing always irked me, like Johnny couldn't understand why people thought he and Penny were an item? Like he was SOOOO offended.

Awhile back, I inadvertently ordered a pair of women's pants online. They're just black lounging pants, so I don't care that they're listed for women in the slightest, but considering how thin the material is, they really keep the heat in. I have to be pretty chilly to stand to wear them.

While not named the most appetizing thing, I whipped up this pumpkin dump cake. It turned out delicious as usual. Grandma's pumpkin pie aside, pumpkin has never been my thing but this is just perfection.

Saw a clip of "The Lowdown" on tik tok that had me laughing like a goon. Just watched the pilot, not really that funny. Its fantastic, but that clip had me expecting more Lebowski. A great watch though.

My job is being downsized. Its a bummer because I really enjoy it. They have another job for me, and its permanent if I choose to take it but, I will be answering phones for half my time. Thankful for that but answering phones was not on my bingo card, as the kids say.

I gotta say, watching the latest REDsteam with Mike Pondsmith is quite enjoyable. Hearing his perspective is really cool.
