im doing about as well as pocket here so just bear with me pls
deadlock fanart 2-tone chiaroscuro painting pocket sitting in a large armchair with one leg pulled up, a cigarette in their left hand (which is black from magic fuckery as it should be). they have the expression of someone who had a rotten week and knows it's about to get much worse. seasonal depression when you just have family members suddenly getting admitted into the hospital and being left in the dark. that sort of thing, to give you a totally, completely random example with no IRL parallels whatsoever. behind the armchair is the figure of the doorman (visible shoulders up). he is standing with his back to the chair (and pocket) but turning his head back attentively. his eye shine bright in the darkness.
