Thankfully, being the hero’s best friend works out well for Damián.

Most of Damián’s scars came from training to be a Crow. Some are from when he was pitted against other fledglings, some are from early jobs. He doesn’t talk about the little one below his ribs on the left.

Damián’s quite vain and finds himself to be very attractive. His favorite feature of himself is his legs/rear; he loves to show them off in tight garments. The thing he’s most insecure about, though, is how broad his shoulders are. Because he’s so tall, he feels like they make him look gangly.
