Honestly, this is why I don't particularly seek out friends in an online setting.
It's not because I'm unfriendly--it's mostly because I know myself, I can't maintain conversation with someone who only holds my interest slightly, and I'm not going to force it.

One I didn't invent while working at THAT place, but rather after: The store manager being a brain in a fishtank that makes decisions based on where the brain is floating at the time of being asked a question.
