Compared to American Airlines who gave me the seats I needed in 7 whole minutes today, with the caveat that due to those US guidelines, if passengers who have a service animal or fused leg need that flight, I will have to give it to them. Which is the logical & accommodating way of handling that!

That’s me too — I’m 6ft, in addition to having EDS. My femur is longer than the room in regular seats, so even before my disability got worse, it was highly uncomfortable. Now, sitting in a spot like that for longer than like ten minutes causes actual damage to my joints and it is EXCRUCIATING.

Kristen also put a note on my account that this is a necessary seating accommodation and that should allow me to avoid this whole rigamarole again.

BLESS Renfry (general phone answerer) and Kristen (escalations) for all their work in getting me the seating I needed. It took me an hour and a half on the phone to get here and they are truly the only helpful people I’ve interacted with. I’m going to be leaving reviews gassing them up.
