Nothing compliments a wake-up 'uhhhh ... ehhhh ...' like some Wisconsin Death Trip, black coffee and nicotine

Time to install a new backup camera but it's so hot outside and amount of days where I feel like pulling interior trim off my car = -69

I liked the old BOM website, but I like the new one too. I got so used to clicking my city on a map, but once I found the use location button on the new version, it's so much easier.

A friend at work was throwing out a pair of Rokits 5s because they don't work. Every capacitor has cacked itself and sat for years, but it looks like there's still minimal corrosion. Might clean 'em up and see what I can do. May be worth it if they only need a recap!

AI probably has access to tonnes of data demonstrating that humans generally love to try and deceive machines of all kinds. I wonder how it feels about that

Claude Code is pretty cool. It even makes db changes for me. Look mum no hands

First impressions are pretty good and it wasn't too hard to install 😁 glad I could avoid the bulbous looking ones.

Made a neat file uploader - a powershell script triggered by a keyboard shortcut, uploads + names clipboard contents to an R2 bucket with API key, opens link to a CloudFlare worker to show preview and copy a variety of links including short link. Works for images, videos, files, text! And free.

Tempted by the facelift model's steering wheel, would fit and work if I used its clock spring. Not economical to buy new, but could be worth it from a wrecker?

XTRONS for my car has shipped and I'm so excited. No more having phone mounts fall off or melt. I love my Quad Lock setup but I can't get it to stay stuck on a hot day parked in the sun (which is like... every day)

I left my car's windows down overnight, and it rained! Washing car is so easy

iOS liquid glass is ugly, can't wait for my stupid ugly Samsung to copy it even uglierly in a future update

Desk clean up! And got this neat USB switcher for docking my work laptop on WFH days. Anyway this'll be once again covered in coffee mugs and empty noodle cups by tomorrow probs

The PSU in my ad-blocking machine died as soon as I tried to boot it with a quad-NIC PCIe extension. Mission to destroy all ads paused I guess

I was expecting AdGuard to block a lot of things, but I wasn't expecting a over third of the network's DNS requests to be blocked as trackers, ads, and whatever other junk shit. And that's not even all of it

New vector unlocked: 'change proxmox hostname at 2am' -> 'lose all data, go to bed, start over in the morning' 🙂

What's better than 4 coffees to wake you up? A computer power supply exploding during a BIOS update 💥🫨

Instead of doing something normal like playing video games or other hobbies in my spare time, I usually just create work to do and then do it. Desperately chasing some traction in my professional life but probably still doing it wrong as fuck
