Agreed, and the more we amplify what Booker is doing, the more we make it matter, in public perception and as an example to other elected officials. On the other hand, the more we disparage and tear it down, the more we make it not matter. It's not all up to him.
I've come along to this take after kneekerk cynicism. Doing stuff that grabs attention is good. Not every action has to accomplish everything. You can praise and be happy about a step forward. We're going to need many steps forward.
