Little Buddy likes to walk around the edge of the tub when I take a bath and he just now lost his footing and KERPLUNKED into the tub and I almost got cut to ribbons trying to get him out. He won’t let me come near him with a towel, so he’s dragging water all over the house. Cats.🙄

The Queens Of The Stone Age show last night was incredible and utterly unique. I’ve not seen anything quite like it from a production standpoint. Coolest of all was the city-specific poster for the event. Just a great night all around, made even more special by getting to experience it with my son.

Got the new Wings Blu-ray (sounds incredible-the Atmos mixes make you feel like you’re hearing the songs for the very first time) and perhaps my favorite part of the whole package is Paul McCartney giving a shoutout to Dora the Explorer in the liner notes. Never change, Macca.

Here we have a photo from the beginning of my daughter’s journey at Northwestern State University. Next month will be the end of that journey. Just found out she not only passed her COMPs, she got the highest score in the class! I couldn’t be more proud. Master’s Degree awaits! Congrats, Peyton!

Here we have a photo from the beginning of my daughter’s journey at Northwestern State University. Next month will be the end of that journey. Just found out she not only passed her COMPs, she got the highest score in the class! I couldn’t be more proud. Master’s Degree awaits! Congrats, Peyton!

I’ve been using the same kit for 16 years. They’re great drums, so I never really thought about upgrading. UNTIL NOW. When a friend called and said he was looking to sell his set of 1975 Red Ludwig Vistalites…my mind was made up before I even hung up the phone. They’re GORGEOUS!

Got my pin to commemorate five years of service to LSU Health Sciences Center! Maybe not a huge deal in the big picture, but this is the longest I’ve ever been at a job that isn’t a part of the music industry, so it feels like a milestone worth celebrating. Yay, me!🎉

Look, if you want to see obscure Japanese movies you have to do whatever it takes. In this case it takes going downtown on a Tuesday night at 10 PM. Kiyoshi Kurosawa‘s 1997 film “Cure” is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen and this is the only time his new opus “Cloud” is playing, so…here we are!
