I just rewatched Top Secret! and I don't think he received nearly enough credit for the talents on display. Singing, dancing, selling ridiculous lines, having an underwater saloon brawl - he was young but made it all look effortless.

The Gettysburg Address was also "just a speech". I Have A Dream was also just a speech.

I don't think Booker's feat will be categorized with those, but it's asinine to disregard the power of a good speech at the right moment.

The NYT has consistently framed things in favor of their controlling interests. Their coverage of Israel / Palestine is terribly biased.
