I'd like to suggest the modern struggle could be reduced to:
Who gets to decide how comfortable others can be?
Should the *most* comfortable (in wealth, privilege, rights) be allowed to dictate which people can feel safe, healthy, fed? Has opportunities? Can feel peace of mind?
