I’m so ready for that plus the VR. I have their current VR headset, and no longer being bound to wires would be amazing.

Last year I drove an hour north of the cities to see the aurora for the first time, and they were still so hard to see. I’m jealous!

“People are realizing that health is luxury”

LMAO what?! Health is health. It’s a series of choices we make.

This reminds me of those cheaply made “luxury” apartments that have been popping up everywhere.

How much did Rise pay for this piece of legislation? Their products are more than 200% more than CBD products, so it’s no surprise they’ll be one of the only ones profiting from this law.

…The gas car getting 35mpg uses 17 gallons of gas; about $4.81 in taxes

That’s $7.09 more (247%increase) than I’m paying for one trip, and don’t forget about the $75/yr tax…

For those who don’t have EVs and think it is equitable to the gas tax, let’s break it down with a real world example:

A gas car getting 35mi to the gallon uses 17 gallons of gas. If we use Minnesota’a rate, we get $4.81 in taxes

On top of the $75/yr

Here in Minnesota, they passed a law that taxes us 5¢ for every kW of energy put into our electric cars - and that’s on top of the $75 yearly fee tacked onto our registrations. It’s more than just the federal government making them less affordable; states are too. Even the blue ones…
