While this move will surely bring a lot of new, stressful things, we’re also so ready for this next step and welcome the great opportunities it’ll bring. ❤️

My wife and I are both very excited about this journey for our family. God/the Universe has worked in mysterious ways, and many things have been falling very nicely into place for our move to Claremore, OK.

Much appreciated! Happy to talk more about it with anyone interested in participating or anyone who’s curious about what the project entails.

Would love it if you could share the flyer for my project exploring disability and masculinity. It’s on my feed.

Would love to be added to this. I’m an indigenous scholar and study indigenous issues related to racial/ethnic identities

How nice it must be to think academics are only interested in pushing left wing activism for the sake of “indoctrination.” As an Indigenous and disabled person, I study what I study so that me and folks like me survive and have a voice in a society that would rather see us silent or not exist.

Can I be added? I’m trained as a sociologist, but I’m very interdisciplinary in my work. I use Foucauldian concepts to explore power, knowledge construction, identity, and deviance among disabled people, Indigenous groups, and other marginalized peoples

We can’t afford to be pessimists, at least not for too long, because we have a long fight ahead of us.

Folks, we can grieve, we can be tired, we can be lost, but we CAN’T stop fighting for the survival of those most marginalized in our society (women, those in the LGBTQ+ communities, people of color, immigrants, those in poverty, disabled people, and those who exist at the intersections).
