The junta’s pre-election bombing campaign grows more deadly by the day.

Last week the junta bombed a tea shop—today a public hospital.

States, including #ASEAN member states, need to impose coordinated arms & aviation fuel sanctions on the junta NOW! #SaveMyanmar #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
The hospital hit by the bombing, which occurred on International Human Rights Day, was a major facility serving civilians from multiple townships held by the Arakan Army (AA), the ethnic armed group that controls most of Rakhine State’s territory

Yesterday the Junta in Myanmar bombed Mrauk-U Hospital in Rakhine state, killing 33 & injuring close to 100 people.

And they want people to think their sham election is a path to peace? Nah they need to be removed from power entirely & held to account for their crimes

A junta that drops bombs on civilians gathered to watch the national football team is not capable of reform.

Int'l actors who think its sham elections can lay the groundwork for peace or resolve Myanmar's political crisis are deluding themselves. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar

⚠️ Our briefing paper urges the international community, donors and humanitarian organizations to avoid channeling aid through junta-controlled systems, which only strengthens the junta and risks funding its airstrikes against civilians.
