I don’t find many aspects of Christianity to be all that meaningful anymore, but I have loved Walter Wink’s subversive interpretation of the “turn the other cheek” passage since I heard it in undergrad and this is a modern living embodiment of his view of nonviolence - so powerful.

For me, the scariest part of this interaction isn’t Trump’s bullying, it’s the complete lack of response from anyone else in the room.
