Almost 4 years ago to this day I had a major health emergency and almost died. The last few weeks I’ve made an effort to do full health checks on every part of my body. Having the doctor tell me I’m completely healthy in every way is euphoric.

My kids are getting a bit older and rarely sit in my lap for hugs anymore but there’s a massive storm happening and they’re both snuggled up in my arms under a blanket because they’re scared. I’m savouring this

I’ve been through so much shit in life but if anyone ever asked me what my most traumatic memory is I would say when 2 football players arm wrestled on live tv and 1 accidentally snapped the other guys arm. Worst thing I’ve ever witnessed I’ve never gotten over it even years later

I think about this all the time!! We hear about the cases of people who have somehow escaped after years but there’s probably a larger percentage of people who can’t escape than those who managed to.

Looks like no J2 for AHBL this year. I kind of expected that anyway they usually only come down every 2nd year. Gives me time to save
