Husband, Father, Veteran, Small-Business Owner and Representative for KY House District 45
Spent my Sunday knocking doors with a fantastic team, including two brand-new volunteers! We won this seat by just 172 votes, so I never take this work for granted. Hearing directly from neighbors helps me serve you better in Frankfort. We’ll be back out after session, see you in the spring!

What a privilege it was to serve alongside this group of amazing humans. I hope you find time to acknowledge the veterans in your life today.

Please consider supporting me and the work I'm doing for our troops and veterans across Kentucky: tinyurl.com/amveterans2025

We honor our veterans every day, but today we take the time to celebrate them. As a veteran, I’ll continue working in our community and in the legislature to lift up and support all of Kentucky’s veterans—today and every day.

Grateful to the KY Chamber for inviting me to join today’s Energy & Technology Panel at their 2026 Legislative Preview.

I was proud to speak about my Ratepayer Protection Act and why Kentucky needs an all-of-the-above energy strategy that keeps politics out and puts people first.

Packed house today, and the energy was incredible. Kentuckians are ready for leaders who put people over politics and fight for policies that lift everyone up instead of holding others down.

Join me today to flip the 6th!

We deserve a representative who will fight to keep our hospitals open and our children fed - who prioritize wages and workers, not billionaires and ballrooms. And unlike Rep. Barr, will pursue justice by releasing the Epstein files.

11 years ago today, Andrea and I did a thing. Today we went out to celebrate with a beautiful lunch. Happy anniversary my love 😘

Honored to join the Wilmore Veterans Parade today. As a veteran myself, I’ll always stand with those who’ve served, honoring their sacrifice and working to support them every day. 🇺🇸 #Veterans #VeteransDay

The Veterans Caucus is standing up for those who’ve served.

Today we announced our 2026 priorities to help Kentucky veterans succeed, whether they’re building a career, earning a degree, or starting a business.

Governor Beshear is stepping up with $5 million for Kentucky food banks as SNAP faces uncertainty.

If you can, share information from Feeding Kentucky, donate to your local food bank, or help spread the word to anyone who may need support.

Cutting off SNAP during a shutdown has never happened before, and it doesn't have to now. Politics should never stand between a family and their next meal.

Kentucky has the resources to keep food on the table, all we need is for Washington to let us help.

I'm with Andy.

Almost 42 million Americans, nearly 600,000 Kentuckians, rely on SNAP to put food on the table.
But DC’s choice? No SNAP funds next month.
Instead, billions for Argentina and a ballroom for billionaires at the White House.

Knocking doors and catching a few spooky sights along the way! Always great to connect with neighbors, even the 10-foot skeletons 💀

Spirit Halloween’s must-have costume of 2025 just dropped

📣 It’s official: I'll have an opponent next year.

My focus stays on serving Kentucky, not playing political games. We put people over politics, lifting up working families over billionaires.

If you believe in this mission, help us keep going. 💙

I just love the pearl clutching from folks who built their careers on the Tea Party, now suddenly deciding that peaceful protest is un-American. Truly inspiring consistency.

In committee today, we talked about youth ag programs in our urban counties. These efforts can do more than teach kids, they can help grow healthier communities and expand access to fresh food where it’s needed most.

Spoke at yesterday's PSC hearing to protect Kentucky ratepayers.

If new power plants are being built for data centers, those companies, not everyday Kentuckians, should cover the bulk of the cost.

KU and LG&E are asking to raise rates by 11.5%.
I’ll be at tonight’s public hearing to speak up for Kentucky families who are already stretched thin. I hope you’ll join me.

At the Kentuckiana Health Collaborative's annual conference discussing how we can make care more affordable, accessible, and effective.

A core part of my campaign and my work as a legislator is pushing for a healthcare system that delivers better results at a reasonable cost for every Kentuckian.

Honored to recognize my constituent & athlete at CrossFit Maximus, Chelsey Gerardi, who set the Firefighter Challenge Junior Female World Record this summer. An incredible achievement, and even better to celebrate it with our CrossFit community!

This is how you speak truth to power. Brother Christian Matson of Pikeville called out the dishonesty of congressional republicans and stood up for Kentuckians in this letter to Congressman Hal Rogers.

I was honored to attend a beautiful ceremony today dedicated to remembering Kentucky’s fallen firefighters. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. The legacy they left lives on in every life they saved and in the hearts of everyone who knew them.

Thank you to President McFaddin and everyone at @easternkentuckyu.bsky.social for making my family feel welcome at last night's EKU Football game! The Colonels came out with big 27-7 win on family weekend!
