I see, that would explain it. Having old voice actors reprising their roles after so long can be challenging. There's apparently been a lot of criticism against Firis' voice actress from the JP community, although I didn't pay much attention while watching.

I also watched the Ayesha/Sophie healer alt story which takes place at the same time and it was ok, if not unremarkable. Just having wanderers work together and no resleri OCs involved was pretty nice tho.

So instead I started up another game that's just been sitting around forever... Stella Glow! I've even used its theme on my 3DS for years. So far it seems like a very approachable SRPG with Ar Tonelico vibes (I've never played Ar Tonelico). The combat is however very slow... wish it had speed-up

I've seen attempts at boycotting but unlike CN, who has like a concentrated circle of top spenders who can pressure Paper, the global community is too decentralized

There have been some successful attempts (4 Gods, ranking events, Boutique dipping...) but most of the time it doesn't work

I am disappointed that the other background items are barely (if at all) visible but oh well 🫠

2. First Atelier game

Lydie & Suelle was the first game I properly played. I had already watched multiple playthroughs of the previous games and saw the base game on a Steam sale at around 2018 so I bought it. However, I dropped it 1/3 of the way and finally beat it last year.
