Also, what's with Malayali football fans and their obsession with keeping the top-division leagues (ISL and SLK) closed? I keep seeing KBFC fans mocking non-ISL clubs (and legacy clubs), suggesting they don't deserve to be in the top division because they don't want to pay 'franchise fees'.

I keep seeing people hype up Super League Kerala as some shining example of how leagues should be structured.
Yes, they have managed to get people to the stadium. Got to give them credit for that. But none of these 'clubs' are active beyond the 2-3 months when the season is on.

God, I have a special kind of hatred for Malayalam YouTube “news” channels. They spout so much bullshit and have absolutely ruined the older generations. It is so sad. The amount of fake news and right-wing propaganda they end up consuming is just mind-numbing.

The absolute gall of this guy to come out and say that the whole case has been about ruining his career and image, when 6 out of the 15 or so of his co-accused were actually convicted by the court for gang-r*pe. 🤮🤮 Heights of shamelessness.

Also in this case, those execs came from City. An organization notorious for being soulless and hollow. Virtually symbolizes everything wrong with modern football.
If clubs are supposed to just give up on decades-old traditions and values, based on the whims of some execs and coaches, what’s really the point of it all? Might as well be a glory hunter.
Not suggesting we always stay still. Modernize and adapt. Just not at the cost of club’s identity.
