Atsu (based on Erika Ishii from Ghost of Yōtei) and Ellie (from The Last of Us Part 2) sit on a cliff, making music. Atsu plays a shamisen and Ellie the guitar. A large wolf lies relaxed between them, eyes closed, one ear turned toward Ellie. A huge iconic mountain lies in the background, and yellow-orange ginkgo tree leaves swirl. The entirely hand-drawn, digital illustration looks like an ink work and is entirely in black and white; only the leaves and the kintsugi-repaired mask on Atsu's belt are yellow-orange.

This was offered as a one-off add-on as part of the Kickstarter campaign for the art book "The First of Us" and sold out immediately! I picked up the new GEE magazine from the kiosk today and was thrilled to discover my Intergalactic key art drawing filling a full page. GEE doesn't just review games, it also explores the culture and art of video games in a broad sense. Beautifully made and worth a look if you understand German.

Insane that the Playstation 2 just had its 25th anniversary. For me personally, Shadow of the Colossus is the best game ever released for this system. And yeah, I got all the lizards and made it to the top. 🦎
