I like how this documentary also talked about the before and after the American involvement, I had no idea there was a war with France until I saw this. It also made me buy "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien and put a bunch of other books on my wish-list.

Currently I am reading through J R R Tolkien's The Silmarillion and this looks like something that could come out of that. Nature but magical nature.

Matsumoto is so beautiful. Japan has so many towns but that one is perhaps my favorite. Your photos remind me that I need to go back again sometime.
