Finished Say Nothing on Disney+. It was already one of my absolute favorite books, but this was a very smart adaptation.

The series makes me attached to the characters and brings the events to life in a way that makes me appreciate the book even more.

Highly recommend both!

Ariana was born for this role and Cynthia is great too, but it's too long and the songs were mostly basic.

Continuing my #Arcane rewatch today with episodes 5-6

Having seen some great and subtle cinema recently, it occured to me that Arcane really isn't that subtle. It's a big story with big moments and emotions.

But is it the width of the brush that determines the beauty of the art?

I love this show.

Finally saw Anora today. I was not expecting it to be so funny!

It feels strange to watch the characters do things that the wealthy and powerful tell them to with very little resistance, but it also feels true to life.

Great acting and character moments throughout.

Update: Starting a rewatch of Arcane because I am obsessed.

Season 1 already starts off strong, but it only goes up from there.

Not as funny as I hoped it would be with the silly premise. I did connect enough on an emotional level, and it does not overstay its welcome.

Yesterday's @nytimes.com Strands was particularly tricky for me. I thought it was kind of fun to see the Google search trends act as a map of where people play the game.

If someone had told me 5 years ago that the "League of Legends animated series" would turn out to to be one of the best shows ever, I would not have believed them.

But here we are, what an incredible show.

Such a great emotional story full of twists and turns, executed immaculately.

Finished Remembrance of Earth's past trilogy. What a wild last book full of big ideas.

I was originally on the fence about continuing on after the first one, but very much worth it for the other two. 9/10
