My daughter started subbing last year. It is hard work. She is mostly at my school, I teach 5th grade. Yesterday, she won SUB OF THE MONTH for the whole district. I’m so proud of her!! 🥰

PBIS has turned into rewards only. This does not teach accountability. I understand wanting to call attention to the positive behaviors, but many of these kids don’t even care about their bad behaviors bc they are allowed at home.

This sweet 18yo girl is snuggled up with me on this rainy night. I wish I knew what she dreams about.
