One group has goldfish crackers in their impluvium…one used fruit rollups for bedding and tapestries…one sculpted furniture & household items out of fondant…😳 So impressed by their creativity and effort!

Sharon taught me the phrase “vague pronoun referent” in my first year of grad school and then proceeded to write VPR all over my thesis, dissertation, and early article drafts until I finally broke the habit. A huge debt indeed! ❤️❤️❤️

Such a good point that these tasks often require serious research labor. Esp when I was the workhorse teaching faculty in a small dept, I was often expected to develop, prep, and teach courses that were far from my area of expertise. (Greek oratory when my expertise is Latin poetry e.g.)
