As I was getting into my car in the garage this morning, from the alleyway that runs behind the apartment there came the echoing sound of a dying ice cream truck’s music. I have never wanted to open a garage door LESS in my life.

Can anyone explain to me how in organizing the pantry, I wound up with no less than 61 spare Tupperware lids, and two bowls with no lid?!?

This was the answer on one of my puzzle games this morning. It hit me that as a writer, this is really my job. No matter what genre you are reading, you are seeking to change reality. And as writers, we are called to transform reality for the reader.
