I'm a blue dot in a red state. I'm a cat momma (as well as a dog). Raised a Southern Baptist, but believe in all religions. I think all human beings should be themselves without restrictions and that we are all equal. Human Rights For all. Peace Out

On this national day of shame I choose not to focus on Donald Trump and his awful, miserable and pathetic people. I choose to focus on Dr. Martin Luther King and our better angels.

I dedicated years of my life to reporting on January 6 and exposing what happened. I was there that day, co-wrote a book, and published a series of major stories on my own, for Rolling Stone, and for TPM.

I hope it mattered. I hope history will remember and understand what happened.

Just have to say that the $Trump meme coin is a gift to all of us who are not fans of his.

It’s just a matter of time until a lot of people lose money from this.

I’m a crypto fan. This is not crypto any more than Madoff was just buying and selling shares of stock

Donald Trump is trying to rename the Gulf of Mexico to distract you from the fact that he can’t lower egg prices, pardoned 1,500 insurrectionists, and rolled back policies that reduced prescription drug costs.

Don’t let him.

‘Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.’ — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On #MLKDay, we honor his legacy by choosing love over hate, justice over injustice, and hope over fear.

Thank you, President Joe Biden, for your service to our nation.

During the next four years, you can count on us to ensure Democrats are elected up and down the ballot to hold MAGA and Trump accountable.

Jan 20, 1961. A blizzard the day before. Temperatures well below freezing. Without a coat or hat, JFK gave a speech we still quote today. Robert Frost, 86, recited a poem. Steinbeck and Hemingway and Rothko were among the VIPs. A million people gathered in the cold to hear it.
This is the precedent.
