If what the capitulating law firms told the NY Times is correct, then they are the most incompetent lawyers in America. It isn't possible that they thought that they made a deal with Donald Trump and he was getting nothing and it would not come back to bite them.

Already the lawyer for a disappeared person (effectively kidnapped - without any hearing or due process) is appealing for her client to be returned from Venezuela.

Something we haven’t focused on enough is that the Trump administration isn’t just deporting people without process, it’s deporting them & incarcerating them in inhumane conditions in a third country. And we are paying for that cruel & unusual punishment that our government is imposing.

Sadly, though, driving through rural PA this afternoon, too many ugly signs still remain. One wonders when, if ever, some will come to their senses. Probably only when they, personally, are affected. Truly the « Me First » party.

two of my neighbors have had their trump flags flying proudly on poles since 2016 in our faces. In the last 1½ weeks... both trump flags have come down by both neighbors. That's progress, no matter how small it seems. More of this needs to happen.
