The counter-fraud and error measures during the pandemic under the Conservative Government were accused of being 'so lax they may as well have left the door wide open'

Replacing a manager who the club don’t think is good enough to keep them up with a manager that 2 PL sides have sacked because they didn’t think he was good enough to keep them up is wild
⚪️🟡🔵 We're effectively in do-or-die territory for Daniel Farke and Leeds now.

A piece on Gary O'Neil's thoughts on replacing him at Elland Road after he became new favourite, and whether a 3-5-2 formation could yet save Farke's skin

Jonathan Gullis defects to Reform saying his former party has "lost touch with the people it was meant to serve".

He should know. When he was in Government he took a five-figure donation from JCB, then stayed silent when it axed hundreds of his constituents' jobs just two weeks later
Conservatives Promote JCB's 'Revolutionary' Pothole Machine While Taking Millions of Pounds in Donations from the Company
Senior Conservatives have repeatedly promoted a pothole repair machine made by a company which has donated huge sums to the party and its MPs

This game is the epitome of everything to hate about modern football. Two teams with great players spending more time throwing themselves on the floor and trying to get the opposition booked than trying to score

Say what?
90 - 10 minutes added on.

2-2

70% of the additional spending from removing the two-child limit will go to families who are in work. This is targeting support for low-income working households who are being priced out of a decent standard of living despite doing everything asked of them.

NEW: Net migration falls sharply to 204,000 in the year to June.

That’s a fall from 649,000 in the year to June 2024. It is a drop of nearly 80% from its 2023 peak.
