42 years of mostly cotton farming, this year weather decided cotton wasn’t meant to be. The payoff has been watching in awe as these plants have grown into a beautiful sea of yellow!

So much heartbreak and disillusionment concerning my own personal life. I feel guilty for aching. A mother’s heart breaks a zillion times as her love never waivers.

I read the news and see that in life’s big picture my heartbreaks seem so very small. But today my heartbreaks are consuming me.

Life has definitely thrown some mean curve balls over the last few years. I’ve ducked a lot of them and held onto what little sanity I had left. 5 months into this year and not sure I have the energy to duck or face head on anymore bullsh*t
