This type of utterly vile, morally bankrupt, pathetically cowardly both-sides-ism is exactly why Andrew Sullivan lost the right to be called my favorite writer. This isn't intellectual evenhandedness - it's an absolute collapse in courage, and a pitiful squeamishness to confront hard truths.
