Very very alarming. This winter’s Flu A decimated healthcare resources and it’s still going. We have holds upon holds upon holds. These are really sick people who rapidly decline and needed advanced airway. I can’t fathom people not having flu vac for next winter!

#4 is already so so so bad. Just the lack of any public alarm or information with the recent uptick of Flu A is already causing a strain on resources. People are sicker than ever and requiring care with resources that are not enough and staff that don’t exist.
So here's the deal.
1. The careless budget/DOGE cuts are going to cause a recession.
2. The running out of undocumented workers is going to cause a food shortage.
3. The tariffs are going to cause inflation.
4. Vaccine denial is going to cause disease.
5. And that's just the tip.

I am getting better at identifying the feelings that anxiety gives me. Right now, for instance, the anxiety is saying that I am doomed and powerless to change any of it, resistance is futile. But I know that’s not true! I am merely overwhelmed but still am capable.

Intersectionality is realizing that as a colonized people, you have internalized that white people automatically = pretty, but also realizing as a woman that there’s an unequal pressure to be pretty, and pretty is not the rent you pay to exist in the world.
