The world is not zero sum.

Seattle, WA
Probably to match how wildly slippery the iPhone 17 pro is now with the aluminum. The previous models were a lot more functional to hold when going caseless.

Tim Kaine is a major reason we’re here. Helped tank 2016 by an abysmal and whiny debate performance and then harmed Tim Walz’s brand by going on SNL in 2024. One of the most anemic Dem senators in recent history, he can’t retire fast enough.

It definitely got a bit beyond soothing with the heaviness 20 min ago! Not sure if you got the same storm band we did, but that was something.

I do the two boxes of Mac and cheese with leftover taco meat and it’s amazing and super dense. Sometimes I do 3 boxes of cheese powder with 1.5 boxes of pasta to really turbocharge it.

It is structurally similar. In 08, it was mortgage backed securities. Basically pools of mortgage debt turned into securities like a bond. There were tranches with different risk levels like this. Instead of a bunch of random peoples mortgages across specific zip codes, these pool data center rent.

I don’t know a single person who likes/respects him and/or watches his show. I don’t understand who is audience is these days. I also always had a suspicion he and Ann Coulter are secret lovers.

It’s a small wonder how Russ Vought is so extremely divorced….

Absolute gutter loser.

Some people smile like that when they’re lying. This guy is always lying. So it’s effectively permanent any time he’s being a mouthpiece on tv.

Low quality trolling tbh

He has one of the two absolute most recognizable SS insignias tattooed on his chest. It remains on his chest after two decades. Those are all the facts. There is no need to wait for more. This is not republican, it’s uniquely and specifically Nazi. Zero possible other interpretations.
October 21, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Yeah so I was fully expecting the tattoo to be some esoteric Norse symbol or something, but no. It’s definitely the full blown nazi skull from the SS. Completely disqualifying. Even if his excuse is true, it means he’s too stupid/ignorant to be a senator. Do better, Maine.

So they’re still better by 20% on average. I think the issue is that charging infrastructure is still not ubiquitous enough for everyone to maintain a charge all the time on their plug in. Once that changes, these should show better reductions. So we should see that number go up over time.

Great news for the prospect of future Martian beer.

You’re like 15% on point and 85% perplexing and stupid in your policy ideas. This is one of the latter examples.

I’ve liked DelBene over the years, but she’s working with the absolute worst strategists right now. Her fundraising became beyond annoying and her positions are incredibly moronic. She’s cooked.

I’m sure the benefits of not drinking are as big as studies say, but there is nothing quite like the joy of a cold beer after yard work, a run on a hot day, and lots of other situations. So I’d take this result positively, it suggests you’re not missing out on much by enjoying those kind of moments.

The Blue Angels are impressive and fun though. It’s a showcase of immense talent and teamwork, and those are things that are sadly increasingly fleeting in our culture.

We’re going to miss you, Jen! After spending the past few years watching almost every game on Root you’ve been a part of our summers in a way that makes you feel like a friend. We also loved your other content like I Cook, You Measure. I hope we’ll get to see you cover Seattle sports in some way.

Oh totally. Bike messenger culture in NYC was so unique and special and I can see how that merged into the community and was something truly awesome. When I lived in the city I rode everywhere in that more aggressive messenger style and it was one of my favorite things to do ever.

As a casual outside observer who views Hackers as the peak of cinema, I do feel that the rollerblades added a quintessential 90s mainstream-perceived counter-culture idealism factor to it.

I too felt that it was more of a filler episode, but it was still entertaining. I do wonder if a few scenes were precursors to a lot more depth in storyline soon. Specifically around the interests, motivations, and abilities of a certain creature.
