AI written lyrics suck so much it's not even funny. But sure, put the song in your VR trailer, suggest it's in the game, and then pretend it's not AI. #ignored

I'm adding @pcmag.com to the list of publications featuring tech writers (Jon Martindale) overly willing to pursue ambiguity on this matter. Why, when they could write it clearly, knowledgeably? Sensors used in positioning Steam VR headsets are all internal. Base stations are emitters.

I love Elite Dangerous, but if when I want to see cool alien trees, I log into NMS. My son made an interesting observation though: this screenshot (from Gallnet News Digest) looks like a winged beast. If it turns out these are fauna and not just flora, THAT would interesting. :D

Looks like it's not grabbing attention, going by the stats. Anti-climax much. What's the money at Vista or wherever it's handed in worth? As a VR-only player, I have zero interest in a new suit, but if the credits are flowing....

Started a Reach playthrough on Hard mode for the achievement and the enjoyment of a single playthrough in a session or two. Three hours in and at the Generators. Doing well. Enjoying it. Might yet 100%. #pcvr #vr #keyprovided

Nice bit of reductionism there.

Who do you think had been keeping all these games companies thinking releasing games on Steam is a good idea. VR audience is far more diverse.

Good article otherwise.

Maybe one day, long into the future, tech experts from IGN will stop referring to Steam VR lighthouses as sensors.

That was an EASY 5hrs in Lumines Arise VR. Great tunes. Stunning visuals. Many more sessions required to learn the ways of multiplayer (got my arse kicked).

Tried some missions, story campaign, multiplayer and the random loot roller. Will be back for more.

24% of achievements reaming. I enjoyed Reach's parkour, combat, and world setting enough to consider 100% a worthy, enjoyable challenge and hard mode will be an achievable and enjoyable goal when I'm ready to revisit the world, soon. #pcvr

Just rolled credits on nDream's Reach. Wish I had been able to play straight through without softlocks at launch. Stop-starts make it harder to gauge the experience. When it was good, it was very good. Story, pacing, combat, parkour, acrophobia, VA, SFX and visuals all solid. #keyprovided #pcvr

Yes! And if you go into the VR Titles category, then click your discovery queue it'll hit you with VR titles. You have to burn through queues with some of the more obvious titles to get to stuff you don't know.

Believe how hard PC VR devs and publishers have to work to get people just to know their game exists. It's crazy effort.

One thing you can do is search on Steam for VR, then sort by release date. That'll give you up to date releases. #vr #pcvr

Habitual puzzle gamers will likely enjoy this. It looks nice in VR. The controls would frustrate me less if inverted. The music is chill bops and fits visuals well. Been in dev for 5 years, slated for 2025 release. Demo: steampowered.com/app/1214740 #pcvr 🧵

Slowing my BSKY 300. My Viveport Infinity payments lapsed. I covered five games a stream, now I'm not. We'll still get to 600, but at a more leisurely pace. Click through quoted post for >100 PCVR games covered so far, or read on for the next batch titled "Demos, Where R They Now?"

Enjoying this, very much.

Some bugs, some additional QoL missed in some places, but the one which chat commented on most was the damage indicator not covering the full screen (I stream at 1440p)

The patch I've been waiting for. Here's hoping the softlocks are resolved, and Index controller orientation corrected. Otherwise I had few other bones to pick with this game.
