Anti-spoiler culture has absolutely rotted people's brains. Can't count how many times I'll write a piece about a book that's been out for years or decades, touch upon one of its themes & inevitably get a comment like, "Thanks for spoiling it!" Is giving you the protagonist's name also a spoiler?

I still need 3 books for my '25 books to read in 2025' - I mean I have all year to figure them out but I would love the full list. I shall look over the books I own and pick some out.

Just finishing up 'Their Eyes Were Watching God' and I really wonder why it took me most of the year to read it. It is great.
